Project 5 Task 1

 There are many benefits of having students participate in blogging in the classroom. Students, no matter how young, can participate in blogging and in turn, become published authors. When students blog they are able to share their ideas and receive feedback from an authentic audience. Blogging and reviewing one another's writing also builds student's 21st century learning skills for collaboration because students, "Demonstrate ability to work effectively and respectfully with diverse teams." Research has also shown that when students blog their writing stamina increases and they write longer and stronger, adding more details to their work and paying closer attention to proper spelling, punctuation and grammar. So start blogging in your classroom and remember, bloggers are authors!
